Also enjoyed this one, although I'd want to know how many volumes they're planning to drag over now, before reading any more。 Also enjoyed this one, although I'd want to know how many volumes they're planning to drag over now, before reading any more。 。。。more

With the premise already established, this book has time to build suspense and tension。 Hell of a cliffhanger。

3。5 Stars I didn’t love it as much as volume one but damn I do still love how badass Erica is!!

Though I considered dinging this volume because it ends on quite the cliffhanger, I love the writing, the art, the characters, the… everything so much that I can’t imagine actually rating it below five stars。 It’s just amazing work by all involved。

4。5* Not as shocking as the first one since it's building the story, but still as fucked up and gory and you know what? Love that。 4。5* Not as shocking as the first one since it's building the story, but still as fucked up and gory and you know what? Love that。 。。。more

So incredibly good。 Erica Slaughter is a badass and this world gets more interesting by the page。 A perfect thriller/mystery balance。 My new favorite series I cannot wait for the next volume。

A great series。。and I'm enjoying the fact we have a number of volumes。。as often it's one and gone。。Great atmosphere in the writing/art and a fair smattering of shock and awe。 A great series。。and I'm enjoying the fact we have a number of volumes。。as often it's one and gone。。Great atmosphere in the writing/art and a fair smattering of shock and awe。 。。。more

This series is awesome and also creeps me the eff out。

Still all kinds of fun。 I really like the art: it captures spooky really well and the gore is shocking, not in a parlor trick kind of way。 Innovative panel design。 Some good backstory, but not so much that the present story suffers。 Not for kiddos at all。 Will continue。

James Tynion is a household name at my home。 Erica in volume 2 is dealing with more than monsters, she's dealing with。。。 Can't tell you。 Read it。 This needs to be a TV series。 James Tynion is a household name at my home。 Erica in volume 2 is dealing with more than monsters, she's dealing with。。。 Can't tell you。 Read it。 This needs to be a TV series。 。。。more

I really thought the kids would stop dying in Vol 1 and it would have a nice happily ever after ending。 I was happily mistaken。。。。ok that sounded wrong。 I'm not happy kids keep dying but Vol 2 had me on the edge of my seat! You learn so much more about Erica's backstory and her organization。 Definitely worth the read。 👌🏾 I really thought the kids would stop dying in Vol 1 and it would have a nice happily ever after ending。 I was happily mistaken。。。。ok that sounded wrong。 I'm not happy kids keep dying but Vol 2 had me on the edge of my seat! After volume one - which I found a little predictable - this volume steps it up a bit。 The pacing was better - the story unfolded nicely。 There were less "stupid" moments - when the hero or a main character does something stupid。 I am still not the target audience。 This is horror - pure and simple。 Monsters eat children。 The monster hunter is trying to fight it。 Nobody else believes her。 We get the added touch of a secret society trying to hide all of this BUT that is a little lame。 They have hi After volume one - which I found a little predictable - this volume steps it up a bit。 The pacing was better - the story unfolded nicely。 There were less "stupid" moments - when the hero or a main character does something stupid。 I am still not the target audience。 This is horror - pure and simple。 Monsters eat children。 The monster hunter is trying to fight it。 Nobody else believes her。 We get the added touch of a secret society trying to hide all of this BUT that is a little lame。 They have hid thousands of children being horribly mutilated? And why? Overall, it is fun。 I can see it will be turned into a Netflix show very soon。 But I still reserve judgment - how will this end in a satisfying way? 。。。more

。。。more

This volume was equally as good as the first one。 As the situation gets more extreme, we start facing more challenges and things get more dangerous。 I am very much loving this series, especially the art style and I cannot wait for the next volume。

Cynthia Nicola

Good series! A little too science fiction-y to fit in my norm but well done and enjoyable。

Not as exciting as the first volume, but still nice to get more information about the St。 George group and monsters themselves。 Gimme more of this series!

This was good。 Other than some minor annoying side stories that don’t matter but check cultural boxes this was very good。 Some back story and more suspense。 I actually went “aw come on!” On the final page because I wanted to see what happened next。。。oh well I gotta wait for the next trade to show up at my library
